A: Very unfortunately that is right. If you can't wash your hands, you really have to avoid contact with Katya -- and even with others in contact with her if possible. We hope nobody will be offended that at the times we are caring for Katya we sadly may have to avoid shaking hands and hugging, or you may see us using antibacterial gel after shaking unwashed hands. This is very awkward for us too, but we have to do at least this much before touching Katya again. Remember, what is a minor infection to you and me can turn into something fatal for someone like Katya.
